This rep photographed this near flawless Whaler on August 14, 2016 and was hard pressed to find any issues other than a footprint or two.
Finally asked the seller if there were any visible stress cracks....there is one, small on the bow (image 99).
The Mercury O/B has had...
- New oil and plugs EVERY year
- New water impeller EVERY OTHER year
- New water/fuel separator EVERY OTHER year
- Carburetors were cleaned of minor build-up (2016)
- Lower Unit and Prop were replaced in 2001 under Warranty (tapped a rock)
The Gel-coat is excellent. The hull is excellent.
The cushions show average sun wear and tear for 18 years...BUT no rips or tears.
The galvanized, heavy duty (3750 lb.) twin-axle trailer has also been very well maintained.....
